Trailer

Angel's Gate Park in San Pedro, California, is a 64-acre public park on the coast, situated in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles. It is located on a high bluff at the southern tip of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, offering sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the Los Angeles Harbor, and Catalina Island. The park features wide grassy areas, a playground, basketball courts, picnic tables, and is particularly popular for kite flying thanks to the steady ocean breeze. One of the main attractions is a cultural landmark, the Korean Friendship Bell, an ornate and historic bell housed in a large pagoda, which serves as a symbol of friendship between South Korea and the United States. The park is the former site of Fort MacArthur, a US Army post established in the early 20th century for the defense of the Los Angeles harbor. Several of the fort's original military structures, including gun batteries and the Upper Reservation's historic administration buildings, remain within the park's boundaries. The park is also home to the Point Fermin Lighthouse, a Victorian-style lighthouse dating to 1874. With its beautiful scenery, open space, and cultural landmarks, Angel's Gate Park is an inviting spot for historical curiosity, recreation, and sightseeing.
